THE Weeknd appeared to ‘diss’ the Grammys as he tossed a trophy offstage in a new music video after he revealed his shocking “plastic surgery.”

Followers believe the singer’s shade is a result of getting shut out by the awards this year with no nominations.

In the music video for Save Your Tears, The Weekend throws a gold trophy off-stage.

He sang “I broke your heart like someone did to mine / And now you won’t love me for a second time.”

Followers believe the artist was responding to his album After Hours  getting shunned by the Grammy Awards.

One fan tweeted: “So Abel’s on stage performing, physically looking fake and not his true self. He’s performing for a crowd full of masked people. the crowd could symbolize the Grammys voters bc I don’t think we know who they are irl.”

Yesterday a promo video for The Weeknd’s Super Bowl LV performance was released.

His appearance seemed back to normal after he shocked fans by revealing seemingly extreme “plastic surgery” to his face in his latest music video

But he was actually only wearing prosthetics to emulate the plastic surgery.

The Weeknd will headline the Pepsi Halftime Show at the 2021 Super Bowl on February 7.

It’s not yet known if he will don facial prosthetics for the performance.
