Will Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page appear on season two of the series?
Regé-Jean Page, who plays the character of Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, will not be returning for season two.
The show, which is based off of the Julia Quinn novels of the same name, follows the books in that regard, as the Duke’s character arc is mostly resolved in the first book: The Duke and I.

“The ride of a life time,” he wrote in his post.
“It’s been an absolute pleasure and a privilege to be your Duke. Joining this family – not just on screen, but off screen too,” he wrote.
He concluded his post saying the “love is real and will just keep growing.”
